Different types of photocards

mintyoongitrades

1. Album photocard: The photocard that you pull from the album itself.

2. Mini photocard: These are bigger than normal photocards, they are usually given in a set with one of each member and usually a group. The upside, these sets are normally only like $7-10 so they're inexpensive to collect! These typically pop up around when an artist is going on tour.

3. POB (pre-order benefit): These photocards are given during the "pre-order" period for an album. There are SO many shops that offer pre order benefit photocards for purchasing from them.

4. LD (lucky draw): These are given at random when purchasing an album. Typically, you'll get 1 lucky draw per album purchase. More often than not, these are a thicker (almost credit card like) material. The major shops I have seen for these are M2U, Powerstation, and Soundwave.

5. DVD/blu-ray photocard: The photocard that you pull from the DVD/blu-ray itself. These tend to be really expensive to buy later on, my suggestion is to buy the DVD/blu-ray and try to trade for your member.

6. Lottery photocard: These are random cards that do NOT come with every album purchase. When you purchase your albums, you are in a drawing for those cards basically like a lottery.

7. Broadcast photocard: These are random cards that are given at music events in Korea. These are super exclusive and often VERY expensive.
