When joining a group order there's a few different payments you can expect.
1. Initial - this is for the product you're claiming.
2. EMS - this is the shipping for the items to be shipped to the go manager. This can be as low as $1-3 and can be much higher like $10-15 for example. It all depends on how expensive shipping was for the go manager and how many people joined the group order. Usually, a go manager will take the cost of EMS and divide it by the number of people that joined the group order.
3. DOM - this is the shipping cost from the group order manager to you.
4. Customs - This is for international go managers so if you're joining a go in the states, this will not pertain to you. Internationally, sometimes you will get hit with customs when a package arrives to your country. A customs duty is usually based on the value of goods or is based off of a product’s weight, dimensions or other specific criteria. This is a cost your go manager has to pay to retrieve their package, so this cost will be split between joiners. If you want to research the topic, feel free!
