A fixed slot is a huge responsibility, you are committing to almost every pob or lucky draw for a kpop comeback.
Go managers may host a group order for an entire comeback season for a particular group. This means they're probably hosting for almost every shop with a pre order benefit or a lucky draw.
Looking for a group order for a specific member can become stressful if there are not slots available for you to join - that's where fixed slots are very beneficial.
A fixed slot allows you to claim a specific member for the entire comeback season. You are automatically put down in the group orders that get opened for that specific member.
For example, let's say I claim Soobin in a fixed slot group order - I do not have to worry about if I'll have a spot for a weverse pob, soundwave lucky draw, etc. The group order manager knows in advance to put me down for Sobin's photocards.
Now while this is great, you don't have to worry about looking for group orders for your members, this is a huge financial responsibility and decision. You are committing in advance to join most if not all group orders that the group order manager opens.
Do not join a fixed group order if you cannot afford to do so, backing out is highly frowned upon and can put your group order manager in a financial pickle where they will now have to cover your claims or find someone to take over them. This can cause your name to be tainted in the trading community.
