Standard forever stamp - 60 cents
This is for your letter that is under one ounce and is being sent within the United States.
International forever stamp - $1.40
This is for your letter that is under one ounce and is being sent outside of the United States. Don't quote me, but I'm confident that these work for any country - we have sent to so many different countries and have not run into any issues.
Non-machinable stamp - 99 cents
We use these when someone does not want their letter sorted in the mail sorting machine - this adds an extra layer of protection because the letter will be hand sorted versus being fed through a machine. These are great for your thicker letters that don't bend very easily.
Additional ounce stamp - 24 cents
When your letter hits that over one ounce weight, you have to pay for additional postage. These cheap little extra ounce stamps are what you need for that. You'll place it right next to your other stamp.
You can choose to buy stamps in person, or you can order them online from the USPS website
Pro tip: If you see a group order where the price seems too good to be true, it probably is. I have seen a lot of stamp group orders where the price is 20 cents or so cheaper - they're typically counterfeit. Be careful!
Letter weight - How are you supposed to know how much your letter weighs? Great question, you'll need to visit USPS to weigh your letter, or get a tiny scale to weight at home.
This is the scale that we use - it's cheap and gets the job done - 10/10 recommend!
Typically, if you are just mailing out 1-2 photocards in a top loader - it comes out to about .80 ounces. If you don't plan on mailing lucky draws or a bunch of freebies that add weight, you probably don't need a scale - just be careful!
